This brings the web backend into consistent behavior with Issue #10's fix. The commit adb4cf7 fixed Issue #10 by skipping dot files on mounted drives.
These dot files (e.g. ._module.py) are frequently created as metadata files by Mac OSX when copying files to the mounted drive. While PR #281 bypasses the error when reading these files the files are still processed which is time consuming and unnecessary.
There should be no reason for a module or directory starting with a '.' and if there were the behavior would be different when running as a mounted drive vs via web-workflow.
A test_dotfile_skip for this new code is also provided.
Used claude to track down locations for code. Edited Claude's verbose comments for brevity.
