Step 4 of #9.

  • ally forward <port> opens any Agent port at localhost until Ctrl C, for a server left running after a session or one Ally did not start.
  • ally ports lists every port listening on the Agent: program, who opened it (Ally job, Docker, outside Ally, other account), project, and where it opens here. Open forwards are green, the rest dimmed.
  • The Agent now reports every listening port with its owner. Raises the control protocol to 16, so both machines must update together.

Tested on archbox over the local network. Tailnet, iroh, a running Docker container, and a macOS Agent not tested.

ally ports lists everything listening on the Agent, not only Ally's work. Each port now says whether an Ally job, Docker, another program on the account, or another account opened it. run and attach still forward only Ally's jobs and Docker. Raises the control protocol to 16.
Automatic forwarding ends with run or attach, so a server left running in a session, or one Ally did not start, had no way to open on the Client. ally forward holds one forward on its own ssh connection, since the shared one closes 30 seconds after its last command. It takes the same claim as run and attach, and each claim now records its local port so another command can say where a port opens.
There was no way to see which servers run on the Agent or where they open on the Client. ally ports lists every listening port with its program, who opened it, the project, and the local address when an Ally command forwards it, read from the port claims.
