Software Engineer with 15+ years designing and delivering scalable systems across banking, gaming, and consulting.
Currently based in Porto, Portugal — working at Futurice with clients across Europe.
I build backend systems. Distributed, reliable, and maintainable ones.
My primary stack is .NET/C#, but over the years I've worked extensively with TypeScript/Node.js, Java, and Go — and I've learned that the language matters less than the thinking behind the system.
Most of my recent work lives at the intersection of software architecture, domain-driven design, and AI-native development practices — figuring out how to use AI as a genuine productivity multiplier without losing architectural ownership.
I write a technical series on Medium called The Paradox of AI — exploring the essential skills software engineers need in the age of AI code generation.
"AI can write perfect code. But it can't tell you which code to write, how to analyze it, or when it will break at scale."
