The problem is that with that solution you still need to add the crate to your
Cargo.toml.May this be of some use? rust-lang/rust#50911
How would it solve our problem? Can you go into more detail, please?
I'm not too sure, I was looking through the recent stabilizations to find things related to macro exports. I didn't really dig much into how it works and if it solves the issue.

In amethyst we want to re-export specs-derive, but it doesn't work with the way we re-export specs
(amethyst::ecs).
