Current Role: Genetic Data Analyst, Pacific States Marine Fisheries Commission (contractor for NOAA NWFSC)
I am currently a genetic data analyst contractor for the Genetics and Evolution Program at the NOAA Northwest Fisheries Science Center. I primarily work on Sebastes, doing cryptic species identification, data management, epigenetic analysis, and population genetics. I completed my M.S. in December 2022 in the Hauser Lab at the University of Washington. My thesis analyzed the population genetics of eight species of Rockfish within Puget Sound. Previously, I was a teaching fellow at The Island School in Cape Eleuthera, The Bahamas teaching interdisciplinary marine biology, mathematics, and research projects.
