Discussion: Introduce Directory.Packages.props?

With so many generated projects would it make sense to introduce a Directory.Packages.props file to manage all versions in a single place?

It does and we were already talking about adding support for this. I'm setting the target to version 2.0.0 since we do need to finish some refactoring before we add this. Thanks for the suggestion 👍

In the Dometrain course @ardalis mentioned against it...stating that every module should be able to pick it's version.

However, since it's all loaded in one AppDomain anyway, I think it does make sense to add it.
However (again) if you do decide to split the module into its own micro service at some point, that's a bit of work to figure that out.

Ooh, per module might be a decent trade off. And if you're really working on the thing as just one team anyway, it may well make sense to consolidate everything into one.
