Issues

• With --rpc, touching any account without code (an EOA) aborts with "Internal Error: oracle error"

argotorg/hevm#1202 · Filter by author JeroenRobben opened on Oct 19, 2026

• Calls to unknown code are forced to return equal results even when they forward different gas

argotorg/hevm#1201 · Filter by author JeroenRobben opened on Oct 19, 2026

• --sig with a bytes/string argument assumes calldata is at least --max-dyn-size bytes longer than needed: false QED for short inputs

argotorg/hevm#1200 · Filter by author JeroenRobben opened on Oct 19, 2026

• --create runs an empty program: hevm symbolic --create always reports QED

argotorg/hevm#1199 · Filter by author JeroenRobben opened on Oct 19, 2026

• hevm symbolic prints QED with no warning when paths are Partial (max iterations, calls to unknown code, ...)

argotorg/hevm#1198 · Filter by author JeroenRobben opened on Oct 19, 2026

• A cheatcode that cannot decode symbolic arguments makes the path revert silently, so hevm test passes

argotorg/hevm#1197 · Filter by author JeroenRobben opened on Oct 19, 2026

• expectRevert with symbolic revert data drops the "indeterminate" partial and the test passes

argotorg/hevm#1196 · Filter by author JeroenRobben opened on Oct 19, 2026

• assertApproxEqAbs(int256,int256,uint256) uses an unsigned difference when an operand is symbolic

argotorg/hevm#1195 · Filter by author JeroenRobben opened on Oct 19, 2026

• Solutions to symbolic jump targets and addresses are masked to 2/20 bytes, then pinned as the full word, dropping paths

argotorg/hevm#1194 · Filter by author JeroenRobben opened on Oct 19, 2026

• hevm equivalence treats CREATE2 with different salts as deploying to the same address

argotorg/hevm#1193 · Filter by author JeroenRobben opened on Oct 19, 2026

• hevm equivalence ignores created contracts' code and transient storage at the end state

argotorg/hevm#1192 · Filter by author JeroenRobben opened on Oct 19, 2026

• State merging rolls back the GAS-reading counter, so a later GAS reading reuses the merged reading's variable

argotorg/hevm#1191 · Filter by author JeroenRobben opened on Oct 19, 2026

• Calls to precompiles do not consume a pending vm.prank or vm.expectRevert

argotorg/hevm#1190 · Filter by author JeroenRobben opened on Oct 19, 2026

• hevm symbolic segfaults intermittently in makeStableName when hash-consing runs on several capabilities

argotorg/hevm#1189 · Filter by author JeroenRobben opened on Oct 19, 2026

• Keccak SMT encoding depends on buffer bytes past the hashed length, giving spurious counterexamples

argotorg/hevm#1188 · Filter by author JeroenRobben opened on Oct 19, 2026

• hevm test ignores forge-std fail() unless --assertion-type DSTest is passed

argotorg/hevm#1187 · Filter by author JeroenRobben opened on Oct 19, 2026

• hevm equivalence treats a storage slot explicitly set to zero as differing from an unset slot

argotorg/hevm#1186 · Filter by author JeroenRobben opened on Oct 19, 2026

• hevm equivalence with --sig or --calldata prints and replays empty calldata instead of the counterexample's

argotorg/hevm#1185 · Filter by author JeroenRobben opened on Oct 19, 2026

• Counterexample storage is wrong when storage decomposition is on: entries dropped, offsets shown as slots

argotorg/hevm#1184 · Filter by author JeroenRobben opened on Oct 19, 2026

• Counterexample decoder ignores ABI offsets, so the second bytes/string argument is printed wrongly

argotorg/hevm#1183 · Filter by author JeroenRobben opened on Oct 19, 2026

• hevm test crashes when it replays a counterexample that depends on tx.origin or block.coinbase

argotorg/hevm#1182 · Filter by author JeroenRobben opened on Oct 19, 2026

• One contract that calls an external library makes hevm test reject the whole Foundry project

argotorg/hevm#1181 · Filter by author JeroenRobben opened on Oct 19, 2026

• vm.expectRevert() is not satisfied by a call that ends in an exceptional halt

argotorg/hevm#1180 · Filter by author JeroenRobben opened on Oct 19, 2026

• hevm equivalence --create compares deployed code from constructor paths that cannot both happen

argotorg/hevm#1179 · Filter by author JeroenRobben opened on Oct 19, 2026

• hevm equivalence replay marks real differences in other contracts or nonces "not reproducible"
