A Claude Code mod that puts a live grid of everything running in the background right above your prompt: subagents, workflow agents and background shells, one box each. Each box shows what it's doing as it happens: the model thinking and writing, every tool call and its result, a running command's newest output, its busiest process and the file it's reading or writing (how far in, how fast).
It pops up while anything runs, steps aside while you type, and a finished box closes a few seconds after it's done. Install clawd too and every box gets its own little Clawd in its color, working along with it, duh!
Made with Claude Code, for Claude Code.
- Claude Code 2.1.295 or newer.
- Linux.
- Python 3.7 or newer.
(IF YOU DON'T HAVE IT, GO GET IT FIRST, DUH)
On macOS the grid still works, just without the live processes, files and running-command output. Those come from
/proc.

ctrl+wstops deleting the previous word in the prompt. Pick another key if you care, or skip it and usectrl+x tab. Without the first one,↑↓don't move between rows. Anything else should be working.
ctrl+w: Jumps from the prompt into the grid
← →: Move between boxes
↑ ↓ / PgUp PgDn: Move a row up or down, or scroll an opened box
Home / End: First or last row
Enter: Opens a box to the whole band (every process and file it touches). Again to close it
Esc: Back to the prompt
/workflow: Closes an opened box, else clears the finished ones, else pins the grid so it stays up
- One box per thing running. With a lot of them the grid pages, it doesn't shrink them into nothing.
- Typing hides it. Sending or clearing the prompt brings it back. That's on purpose.
- It reads Claude Code's own transcripts and task files to know what's going on. If a Claude Code update moves them, it breaks. Blame them, not me.
