Open Claude Code

This repository contains the reconstructed source code of Claude Code, Anthropic's agentic coding tool. The source was recovered from the officially published npm package using source map analysis and restoration techniques.

The code in this repository was obtained through the following process:

1. Downloading the officially published @anthropic-ai/claude-code npm package
2. Extracting and analyzing the bundled source maps
3. Reconstructing the original TypeScript source tree from the mapped output

No proprietary systems were accessed, and no reverse engineering of compiled binaries was performed — only publicly available artifacts (npm package + embedded source maps) were used.
