It's the core publiccode.yml validator, and it's pinned to a specific commit exactly so you control which code runs.

The library behind it (publiccode-parser-go) has:

  • reproducible builds, verified in CI
  • SLSA build provenance attestations on releases
  • SBOM published with every release
  • every CI action pinned to a commit SHA
  • dependency review on PRs + govulncheck
  • zizmor linting the workflows themselves

Your call if you don't consider that's enough, of course, it would have caught the publiccode.yml that's been invalid in this repo for the past 15 months. :-)
