Motivation

restoreState brings a commerce-search surface back to a saved search: query, page, page size, sort and facet selections, including the selected path of a category facet. Agent Gateway handles it, but the mock converse service ignored it, so the demo couldn't exercise a restore in mock mode.

Changes

@coveo/platform-mock-api

• The water-sports search surface answers restoreState. Like the gateway, a restore replaces the surface's search with the snapshot instead of merging into it.
• Facets are matched by field, as FacetRestore.facetId names them: ec_brand values, the ec_price range, and the ec_category path.
• The query summary shows the restored query. The mock's catalog doesn't filter by query, so results are unchanged.

@coveo/mock-converse-api

• Tests restore the query, page, page size and sort, each facet type, and check that a restore replaces the current search.

Validation

• @coveo/mock-converse-api tests pass (98).
• Checked in the demo against this mock: going back and forward through searches restores them, including category paths.
