Pins the Windows theme to WinUITheme 0.1.0-alpha11 (tag on d0416a3; zip sha256 554acb14…67b8). It was alpha10 (958c38f) until 643cd01. The backend stays on libs-back carry-0.32.0.4. For 0.3.2.

• Compact titles (Popovers: marked for themes that draw their panel #164): with WinUIThemeMetrics=compact, long share tile titles aren't clipped.
• 40pt toolbar (Windows: copy and paste images through the Windows clipboard; show a second window #170): 36pt buttons, 20pt icons, 32pt view items and 8pt gaps in the menu bar's row. The colour well keeps its chevron.
• Priority overflow (PopoverFocusProbe: the arrowless-panel test doesn't depend on the installed theme #171): a narrow window's toolbar sends its lowest-priority items into » first, and says so with -toolbarHonoursVisibilityPriority. ScreenshotTool's ranking and minimum are Toolbar: least-used items overflow first; the tools, colour and Copy never do #303.
• Date flyout (Toolbar icons from SVGs, rendered at each size they're drawn at #161): its buttons repeat while held.

Windows GO on alpha10 (comment 6297172242). The 40pt row and the overflow were checked with #303 on the theme's toolbar-40-overflow build (5ab3495, the same code as alpha11):

• the minimum is 642/800/960 px at 100/125/150%;
• Tools, Colour and Copy stay;
• Undo and Redo go first.

The rc1 round re-checks this on the released alpha11.

Windows: GO. I tested preview MSI 0.3.1-pr300 (run 39463280516, 32335ec, WinUITheme 0.1.0-alpha10) on Windows 11, using the installed app through its launcher.

#168: the replace prompt. I used an existing file in each case.

#164: compact share-tile titles. I launched with -WinUIThemeMetrics compact at 100% and 150%. "Send to Test — home" and "Send to Test — work" fit on one line without clipping. At 150% "— home" just fits the tile. With the default metrics they wrap onto two lines, also unclipped.

Run at 100%, 125% and 150%, light and dark (default metrics). I captured the main window and the Share sheet for all 6 combinations. The toolbar (tools, colour, Save, accent Copy, Share, …), the status bar and the sheet all look right. Nothing overflows into » at any scale.

One cosmetic thing that isn't from alpha10: at 150% the status text shows "px ·PNG", with a space missing before "PNG". rc2 does the same, so it's older than this PR.

The VM is back on rc2, at 100% and light mode.

  • a fresh window opens 924 × 688, 1108 × 739 and 1329 × 790.
• The status-bar "px ·PNG" spacing at 150% is Windows 150%: the status text reads "px ·PNG", missing a space #306 (0.3.3), as before.

The alpha10 results above are superseded by these.
