Main's snapshot publication fails because zenohFlatJniVersion=1.10.1 names a release, while flat-jni-copy.bash requires this repository's -java-SNAPSHOT coordinate. Restore 1.10.1-java-SNAPSHOT, matching version.txt at the zenoh-flat-jni commit pinned in Cargo.lock.

Apply the publishing documentation update from zenoh-kotlin #729: explain the source pin and Maven dependency, consolidate snapshot and release procedures, and provide a complete release checklist with publication-status checks and recovery links.

Adapt the instructions to Java's current workflows. GitHub release creation runs inline, documentation dispatch cannot deploy a selected release, and a live run with Maven publishing unchecked is not rejected. Describe the existing recovery options and gaps without changing the workflows.

Validation:

  • Reproduced the original snapshot-coordinate rejection before changing the property.
  • Verified the pinned zenoh-flat-jni commit 3abac5c7a23d78e093e05803d1fbfc747213b0c9 has base version 1.10.1.
  • flat-jni-copy.bash --self-test passes; the resolver now succeeds with base=1.10.1 rebuild=true.
  • Checked workflow inputs, job dependencies, release history, and published JVM/Android 1.10.1 POM dependencies. Both publication-status commands return HTTP 200.
  • Markdown lint, all 66 local links in PUBLISHING.md, and git diff --check pass.

Only PUBLISHING.md and gradle.properties are changed.
