Why
We want easier installs of Nylon.
How
This PR creates
install.sh, which installs nylon to bin (as well as a systemd unit optionally) in Linux with support for in-place upgrades. This PR only adds support for systemd/ubuntu 24.04. I'll add support for more distros in a followup.Use
Pass options after
sh -s --, for example... | sh -s -- --version v0.4.6.--no-service--version <tag>v0.4.6(also works for downgrades)--uninstall/etc/nylon--helpTesting
This PR was tested on a fresh install of Ubuntu 24.04 on x64 in QEMU. This PR also adds a CI workflow to test the workflow.
