The Sinan Build System

What is Sinan?

Sinan is an Erlware project intended as build tool designed to build Erlang/OTP Projects, Releases and Applications. Sinan leverages the metadata artifacts provided by OTP to do a good job building, testing, releasing, etc with very little or no additional input from the developer.

If you are in a hurry you can read the QuickStart for getting started with the build system. You may want to join the Erlware Questions mailing list.

If you want to get started improving Sinan itself take a look at both BuildingFromSource and ReleaseTesting. You will need to be familiar with both before you can do pull requests. If you embark down this path you should probably join the Erlware Dev mailing list.

The erlware community is very helpful, if you have any problems at all feel free to ask questions.
