• Sprint 1: walking skeleton

  One message travels producer -> broker -> consumer over the real wire format, survives a restart, covered by tests in CI. Out of scope: DRR fairness, Lua hooks, throttles, ordering, deduplication, retries and DLQ, admin operations beyond the skeleton, auth, TLS, clustering, continuation frames. Done when: cargo test green in CI; an end-to-end test enqueues, consumes and acks against a spawned server; a restart test finds the message still there. Working agreement: one branch and PR per issue, reviewed against docs/ before merge. Tasks are sized for a single ~1h session.
