Merged this update after reviewing the action changes and passing the full native CI matrix.

This moves Go setup to v7.0.0 and build provenance to v4.2.2, with both actions pinned to their reviewed commit hashes. Our file-based release attestations continue to use the existing scoped permissions; the extra registry metadata permission is not needed for these downloads.

The first master build passed with 91.20% production coverage and published v2.0.0-alpha.3. I verified the checksums, binary architecture and source metadata, and provenance for all 12 published assets. The public installer selected the new alpha, and the installed CLI passed a real PostgreSQL start/status/SQL/stop check with cleanup verified.

This PR is now merged and closed. If you rely on these workflows, please confirm the updated setup and release behavior works for your use case; reply here if there is a remaining concern or regression.
