Also improve voice stealing, ASIO initialization, plug-in crash recovery, editor sizing, timeline take visibility, and project loading diagnostics.
Introduce binaural and surround rendering with persisted room and source placement settings. Add live spatial controls and move mixer meters into a root-level overlay to reduce playback redraws.
Use fixed-size scratch buffers to preserve the realtime allocation contract. Correct mixer bay and viewport geometry, and constrain room-pad drag mapping to the drawn walls.
Add editor actions, controls, and embedded icons for the MIDI editor. Repair legacy warp clips on load and ignore markers outside Warp mode. Expand render tests to verify pitch stability.
Real one-shot drum sampler DSP (choke groups, per-pad envelope/tune/gain/pan, wait-free sample hand-off) wired through the existing plugin-host bridge the same way WrapSynth is, plus a 16-pad + inspector editor UI in Futureboard's own plugin-editor visual language.
Persist plug-in preset paths across database migrations and restore missing paths for legacy entries. Load instrument listings asynchronously and add shared piano-key theme colors.
Add Drum Sampler built-in instrument with 16-pad editor
Reuse cached `.pst` paths for legacy plugin database rows and preserve vertical wheel scrolling in short mixer panels.
- Redesign the EQUZ8 editor and add its preview launch target - Add scoped live keymaps, plugin instance tabs, and timeline workflows - Add multicore rendering, SIMD kernels, and improved stretcher latency handling
- Add four-band stereo width DSP and embedded React editor - Expand Drum Sampler controls, waveform editing, and sample management - Unify editor styling and improve timeline tempo and MIDI handling
Memoize and share unchanged MIDI clip snapshots to reduce per-edit rebuilds and prevent UI stalls.
- Support 16 independent parts with preset, volume, pan, mute, and solo controls - Persist channel settings and apply edits live without rebuilding audio structure - Add multichannel UI, track creation, routing, and project compatibility - Improve drum-bank routing and exclusive-class voice choking - Probe network drives asynchronously before listing them
Start the window move explicitly via begin_titlebar_drag on the drag overlay and title bar; WindowControlArea::Drag is only honoured on Windows.
The Add Track dialog queued only VST3/VST2/CLAP inserts for a host load, so a built-in instrument such as Drum Sampler opened an editor with no host instance behind it: dropped samples had nowhere to go and nothing played.
