feat(contact): let plugins match many addresses at once and follow the addresses contacts gain - #285
Plugins get deps.Matcher, which finds the contacts behind many addresses on one channel in one call, inside the caller's workspace. ALPHONE_CONTACT_MATCH_MAX sets the largest batch, 100 when unset, and plugins read it as deps.ContactMatchMax.
Plugins get deps.Identities, which lists the addresses the workspace's contacts gain, one page at a time, after a cursor the plugin keeps.
Each contact address records the transaction that saved it. The list follows that order and holds back anything newer than the oldest open transaction, so a save that finishes late is never skipped.
Each cursor names the PostgreSQL server that answered it, and each address the server that numbered it. A cursor from another server, as after a dump restored onto a new server, is refused with sdk.ErrCursorStale, and each start renumbers the addresses another server numbered. A limit below one is refused with sdk.ErrInvalidLimit.
The plugin docs get a Contacts page, and the configuration page a Contacts section.
Why
A mail plugin meets a sender and many recipients in one message, and it has to fetch the recent mail of every address a contact gains. Looking addresses up one at a time does not scale, and a list ordered by save time can skip a save that finishes late.

Walkthrough
The change adds bounded, tenant-scoped contact matching and a cursor-based feed of newly added contact identities. It implements PostgreSQL queries and migration support, exposes both APIs through plugin dependencies, and adds configuration, documentation, and tests.
The SDK and contact package add bounded matching and cursor-based feed APIs. Configuration reads a default bound of 100 and rejects invalid values. Documentation describes the APIs, limits, and errors.
PostgreSQL adds tenant-scoped matching and ordered feed queries, using transaction IDs and identity IDs as the feed cursor. Migration code restamps identities outside the current server’s transaction range. Tests cover pagination, transaction ordering, tenant isolation, and migration behavior.

Plugin dependencies receive the configured maximum, matcher, and identity feed. Bridges convert contact results and errors to SDK types. Tests check limits and tenant-scoped matching and feed results.
The feature scenario creates contacts and adds email identities in tenants, then checks that the feed returns the expected tenant’s identity and no identity for the default tenant.

Explanation
The PR meets the coding requirements in [#283]. sdk.Deps exposes Matcher, Identities, and ContactMatchMax. The matcher applies the configured batch limit and caller tenant scope. The identity feed supports cursor pagination, transaction ordering, and a horizon that holds back newer open transactions. PostgreSQL, wiring, feature, error-path, and tenant-isolation tests cover these behaviors. The plugin documentation describes both APIs.

Summary
Adds batch contact matching and a paged feed of addresses contacts gain. Plugins receive Matcher, Identities, and ContactMatchMax; the feed follows transaction order and rejects cursors from another PostgreSQL server. Startup renumbers restored addresses, and the documentation explains limits and cursor recovery.
The only change since the previous review rewrites the server-identifier lookup in restampIdentities. No new actionable issues were identified. The earlier restored-cursor issue remains addressed by rejecting cursors from another server, even after transaction numbers catch up. No behavioral tests were run for this review.
Plugins can find the owners of many contact addresses in one call.
Plugins can follow new contact addresses with a paged, workspace-scoped feed.
🔴 High risk · The schema migration adds transaction stamps and rewrites contact identities at startup; restamping can make plugins replay addresses they already processed.
Adds deps.Matcher for matching many contact addresses in one call and deps.Identities for paging through newly added addresses after a plugin-held cursor, with cursors tied to the PostgreSQL server that issued them. Restamp now reads the server identity once instead of per row, addressing the resolved per-row pg_control_system() finding. No open issues remain.
✅ 1 closed✅ Performance: Restamp re-reads pg_control_system() for every identity row at each start
📄 internal/postgres/migrate.go:19-21📄 internal/postgres/migrations/00024_identity_added_transaction.sql:7 pg_control_system() is a volatile function, and each call reads the server's control file from disk. In restampIdentities, added_server <> (pg_control_system()).system_identifier therefore runs that read once for every row of core.contact_identities. The UPDATE already scans the whole table, and it runs on every AlphOne start, so startup slows down roughly in proportion to the number of stored addresses. The new column DEFAULT in migration 00024 has the same cost: every identity insert, including bulk imports, reads the control file once. Fix the restamp by wrapping the call in a scalar subquery. PostgreSQL then evaluates it once as an initplan instead of once per row.
