implementing waffle charts

Hi plotnine devs,

I have recently been using plotnine for my visualisations, and it's great, so I'm keen to see more features. Recently, I was looking at making a waffle chart with plotnine, but unfortunately it doesn't look like it is implemented yet. is it possible to implement waffle charts (potentially using pywaffle)?

It should be possible to do a geom_waffle, but it is outside the scope of plotnine. It is best suited for an extension. I don't think pywaffle would work well, I have skimmed the code and the way it uses matplotlib would conflict with plotnine, i.e. it uses a custom figure class.

@acbuyan Just wondering if this is somewhat hackable with a geom_tile? Could perform some data manipulation to get things in a format which would roughly correspond to a geom_waffle - not ideal perhaps but some sort of workaround?

The place to do the data manipulation would be in a stat_waffle. The default geom would be geom_tile and if you want to use objects other than squares, you can use geom_point with customs shapes.

Then you can evaluate if a geom_waffle is also necessary.
