After upgrading to
actions/setup-node@v7, the publish job fails duringyarn cache dir:Failed to replace env in config: ${NODE_AUTH_TOKEN}. The action no longer supplies a dummy token, butregistry-urlstill creates a token-based.npmrcthat Yarn Classic cannot read without that variable.Select the same public npm registry with
NPM_CONFIG_REGISTRYinstead. Keep the existing OIDC permissions and trusted publisher; no npm token is required or added.Validation: reproduced the exact Yarn error using a temporary token-placeholder
.npmrc, then verified the cache command succeeds without that authentication entry. Release workflow regression tests andgit diff --checkpass. This maintenance PR does not publish a new package version.
