Good call consolidating to one source of truth. Two things before this merges:

1. Merge order: this PR must go after hygraph.com-next #1390.
6 of the 7 doc links in this README lead to pages that don't exist on hygraph.com yet (I checked — only /docs/developer-guides/schema/click-to-edit is live). All six missing pages are created by #1390, so this PR only needs to wait for that one to merge and deploy; #1381 is independent. If this merges first, the README ships with dead links — on GitHub and on npmjs.com.
On coverage: two pieces of the old README aren't in the new docs yet — the component-array live-update/reordering guide and three Preview methods missing from the advanced-api page. Both flagged with specifics on #1390.

2. The npm release needs a version bump.
package.json is still at 1.0.7, which is what's already published — npm publish will fail without a bump. Needs 1.0.8 plus a changelog entry; can be added here or in a tiny follow-up PR.

Edit: clarified that only #1390 blocks this PR, and replaced the generic coverage warning with the concrete gaps (detailed on #1390).

Verified all 7 doc links now resolve on hygraph.com (old Next.js slug 301-redirects correctly) and the version bump to 1.0.8 is in with the lockfile synced. Good to merge.
