Split cookbooks page into common patterns and harnesses & models sections - #626
Conversation
…ions The common patterns cards were only discoverable via the mobile nav drawer sidebar grouping; the page itself showed one undifferentiated grid. Group cards under matching headings so common patterns are visible directly on the page on mobile without opening the navbar. Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Risk: Very Low. Approved.
This change only rearranges the cookbooks landing page in cookbooks.mdx. It adds Common patterns and Harnesses & models headings and splits the existing card grid into two groups that match those headings. Card titles, copy, tags, images, and links are unchanged.
- Blast radius is the docs page layout only.
- No application logic, API, auth, or infrastructure changes.
- No code owner review is required on
main.
Safe to merge as a documentation layout update.

Re-checked this pull request after the merge from main. The pull request still changes only cookbooks.mdx: it adds Common patterns and Harnesses & models headings and splits the existing card grid into those two groups. Card titles, copy, tags, images, and links are unchanged.

- The merge brings in documentation already on
main; it does not add new pull-request changes. - Code owner review is not required (
require_code_owner_reviewis off, and this repo has noCODEOWNERSfile).
Risk is unchanged from the earlier Very Low assessment, so the existing approval is left in place.

Re-checked this pull request after the latest merge from main (d6e2372). The only file that still differs from main is cookbooks.mdx. Summary
The cookbooks page rendered every card in one undifferentiated grid. The "common patterns" grouping only existed in the sidebar nav, which on mobile is hidden behind the navbar drawer — so mobile visitors couldn't see it was there without opening the menu.
This splits the grid into two sections, each under its own heading, matching the existing sidebar grouping in
docs.json:Card content, tags, and links are unchanged; only the grouping and headings are new.
Testing
mintlify devand loaded/cookbooksat a 390px mobile viewport and desktop width — both sections render, cards keep their tag/link/image, and the search box still filters across both sections (it walks the DOM globally, not section-scoped).🤖 Generated with Claude Code
Note
Low Risk
Documentation-only layout change on the cookbooks index with no runtime or API impact.
Overview
The cookbooks landing page no longer uses a single card grid. It now has two on-page sections—Common patterns and Harnesses & models—with separate
Columnsblocks under each heading, mirroring the sidebar grouping indocs.json.Common patterns holds the four pattern cookbooks (credentials, payments, Playwright fallback, captcha pausing). Harnesses & models holds the integration/model cards, including Jev Browser Use, which previously led the mixed grid. Card copy, tags, images, and links are unchanged; only layout and grouping moved.
