feat(apiauth): send tokens to kubescape, kubevuln and synchronizer; protect the trigger API - #472
Implements the operator side of designs-and-proposals#32 (service-account authentication for the in-cluster HTTP APIs).
Client: requests to kubescape and kubevuln (utils.InitHttpClient) and the admission exporter's posts to the synchronizer carry Authorization: Bearer <projected SA token> read from KS_API_TOKEN_FILE. When the file is missing no header is sent, so this release is safe against older kubescape, kubevuln and synchronizer images. A 401/403 from kubescape or kubevuln is logged naming the token mount and the caller Role.
Server:POST /v1/triggerAction requires a token validated by TokenReview and authorized by RBAC (create operatorcommands.kubescape.io), through github.com/kubescape/storage/pkg/apiauth. The operator exits at startup if its service account cannot create TokenReviews/SubjectAccessReviews (the chart binds it to system:auth-delegator) or POD_NAMESPACE is unset; KS_API_AUTH_DISABLED=true turns the check off.
Chart dependency: the matching helm-charts release sets the env vars, mounts the projected token and renders the RBAC. Until then, local runs need KS_API_AUTH_DISABLED=true.
Dependency note:pkg/apiauth is pinned at a pseudo-version of kubescape/storage#482; it will be bumped to pkg/apiauth/v0.1.0 once that is tagged, before this merges.

Walkthrough
The change adds bearer-token support for outbound HTTP clients and the admission exporter. It also adds authentication middleware for the trigger API route and handling for rejected tokens from Kubescape and kubevuln.
HTTP clients read bearer tokens from token files. The admission exporter accepts a token-file setting. Tests verify token headers and missing-file behavior. The environment-variable table documents token and API-auth settings.
Trigger API authentication restapihandler/apiauth.go, restapihandler/restapi.go, main.go, restapihandler/apiauth_test.go
The trigger-action route maps to the operatorcommands create permission. Startup creates the middleware and passes it to the listener. The router applies it to the trigger route and leaves the OpenAPI route unwrapped.
Kubescape and kubevuln handlers detect 401 and 403 responses, close response bodies, and report authentication errors. Kubescape response handling marks the command as failed and stops further polling.
kubescape/operator#454: Changes overlapping Kubescape response handling and scan rejection paths, so both changes require reconciliation in those paths.

Admission alerts can be rejected when deployments rely only on the documented token environment variable; documenting or wiring the exporter setting is a bounded follow-up.

If the synchronizer returns 401 or 403, exportMessage logs only the status code. Operators do not get the token-mount and Role guidance that the other authenticated clients provide. Handle these statuses with utils.AuthRejected before the generic non-2xx log. The API-auth proposal calls for this diagnostic on synchronizer responses too. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

Review comment at @admission/exporter/http_exporter.go around lines 243 - 245:
Update exportMessage to handle 401 and 403 responses with the existing
utils.AuthRejected diagnostic before the generic non-2xx log, using its
established call pattern. Return after handling those statuses, and preserve the
generic status-code log for other non-2xx responses.

Document the synchronizer’s separate tokenFile setting.
If a deployment sets only KS_API_TOKEN_FILE, the Kubescape and kubevuln clients use that path, but the admission exporter sends no bearer token. The exporter requires httpExporterConfig.tokenFile. State that requirement here so a manually configured synchronizer does not reject admission alerts. The proposal also specifies the separate exporter setting. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

Review comment at @README.md at line 299:
Update the KS_API_TOKEN_FILE documentation to clarify that it configures the
Kubescape and kubevuln clients but does not provide a bearer token to the
admission exporter. State that manually configured synchronizers must set the
separate httpExporterConfig.tokenFile setting for admission alerts.

The authentication change addresses the unprotected trigger endpoint while using Kubernetes TokenReview and RBAC; the token transport is restricted to the configured service hosts. No material code blockers found in the reviewed head.
Rollout needs coordination: this operator requires the matching chart namespace and delegated-review RBAC at startup, and older CLI binaries cannot call the protected endpoint. The companion CLI change also migrates remediation, addressing the compatibility concern behind #411; it is still open. #431 provides optional network-level isolation, not application authentication. #454 overlaps scan status handling but solves a different problem. No duplicate was found in an all-state title/body search; historical inline comments and file diffs were not exhaustively searched.
The existing exporter documentation comment remains valid and nonblocking; the logger finding is addressed. Synchronizer auth failures also retain generic diagnostics.

Targeted Go tests could not run in the isolated offline container because the new apiauth module was not cached; no local test pass is claimed. No live-cluster or upgrade test was run.
