las-r/README.md

Hi, I'm las_r! I’m a student developer who enjoys making stuff from the ground up.

Technical Interests

  • Programming language design
  • Low-level CPU architecture and computer hardware
  • Creating systems in constrained environments

Selected Works

  • Calm, a minimal, C-like compiled programming language written in Python with llvmlite.
  • Xi, a 6-bit CPU made fully in Minecraft redstone (with a custom instruction set!).
  • Mercury, a fantasy console emulator loosely inspired by CHIP-8 and its derivatives.

I typically program in Python or JavaScript, but I have experience in other languages like Lua. I can also work on embedded systems such as microcontrollers.

Right now, I'm working on Sylo, another compiled programming language.

You can view the full chronological index of my languages and architectures here.
