Maybe a stupid question but isn't the term 'cookies' only used in browsers? Is there an equivalent here for Android?

I just checked the RFC docs https://www.rfc-editor.org/info/rfc4960/#section-3.3.11, and SCTP does indeed use the term "Cookie"; I assume its function is similar to that of browser cookies in SCTP sessions.
