What changed

  • Rewrote the public README in plain English, with direct Windows and macOS download choices and an honest performance explanation.
  • Added a reproducible GitHub Release workflow for verified Windows EXE/portable ZIP and universal macOS DMG/app ZIP packages.
  • Parameterized package names, checksums, installer versions, and DMG volume names.
  • Kept instructions.md ignored and protected by CI.

Why

The Windows files existed in the previous Release, but the verified macOS artifacts were never attached. The README had also been changed to Spanish even though English is the base language.

Validation

  • YAML, Bash, PowerShell, staged diff, and private-brief guards pass locally.
  • Windows beta.2 EXE, portable ZIP, and SHA-256 file were built successfully.
  • Checksums verified.
  • Isolated silent install, five-second launch, and silent uninstall passed; installer product version is 0.3.0.2.
  • macOS CI will build and verify the universal DMG/ZIP on a real macOS runner.
