Summary

Adds automated publishing to npm when version tags are pushed.

Workflow

1. Trigger: Push of tags matching v*.*.*
2. Test: Runs full test suite across Node 18/20/22
3. Publish: Builds and publishes to npm registry

Required Secrets

Configure this secret in the repository settings:

Secret	Source	Description
NPM_TOKEN	npm Access Tokens	Automation token with publish permissions

Creating the npm Token

1. Go to npmjs.com → Access Tokens
2. Generate new token → Automation (for CI)
3. Copy and add as repository secret

Usage

To publish a new version:

# Update version in package.json
git tag v0.2.0
git push origin v0.2.0
