Summary

  • Update appservice to azext-utils v5 and the released azureutils v5, github v3, and azureappsettings v2 peer dependency; bump appservice to v6 because the peer requirement is breaking.
  • Regenerate the npm lockfile with one deduplicated azext-utils v5 installation.
  • Preserve the original one-button deployment warning; adjust its test to leave the warning unanswered while asserting it appears and cancellation is still thrown, without opening another VS Code window.

Validation

  • npm install --package-lock-only --lockfile-version=2 --ignore-scripts (appservice): passed.
  • npm ci --ignore-scripts (appservice): passed; npm reported 8 audit findings (2 low, 4 high, 2 critical) outside this migration.
  • npm run build (appservice): passed (ESM and CJS).
  • npm run lint (appservice): passed.
  • npm test (appservice): passed (60 tests).
  • npm ls @microsoft/vscode-azext-utils @microsoft/vscode-azext-azureutils @microsoft/vscode-azext-github @microsoft/vscode-azext-azureappsettings --all --depth=2 (appservice): passed; one deduplicated azext-utils v5.
