Describe payment and POS rails without partnership language - #1867
Conversation
The commerce PRD, build specification, guides, internal evidence notes, the commerce skill and FINDINGS described a payment provider as a partner, with partner tenants, legal reviews, revenue share and named merchants, and listed a POS product line. They now describe the Plural integration as the first payment adapter, a generic POS bridge and provider-neutral responsibilities. Applied migrations are unchanged; the tests that assert the edited wording follow it.

Use the repository owner's identity for the commit
The reviewed commit records both its author and committer as Codex <codex@openai.com>. This violates the explicit rule in AGENTS.md prohibiting tool attribution in author and committer fields and requiring the repository owner's configured identity. Correct the commit attribution before merging; provider-neutral document wording does not resolve this separate publication requirement.

Summary
Describes payment and POS rails in provider-neutral terms. The commerce PRD, the V1 build specification, the commerce guides, the internal evidence notes, the commerce skill and FINDINGS described a payment provider as a partner: partner tenants, partner legal reviews, revenue share, partner analytics, named partner merchants and a co-branding question. They also listed a POS product line by name. These now read as:
Product references to the Plural integration, connector and environment identifiers, provider URLs and the blog about the Plural capability path are unchanged.
