Duplicate iphonesimulator devices with the same name causing errors

When we run bot-devices we are seeing several of the same entries. For example, there are six iphonesimulator iPad Retina 7.0 lines. If we only put one in the .bot-sync-github.cfg file, we get an error:

Some of the following devices could not be found on the server

In lib/bot_builder.rb:28 it checks that the number of guids matches exactly. We were able to get the script to work if we repeat the entry in the .cfg file the same number of times that we get from bot-devices. Is this expected behavior? Has anyone else run into the multiple device issue?
