The one property I kept from the standalone version is the reason it had no path filter, recorded as a comment on the step: a path-filtered workflow reports pending on PRs that miss the filter, so it can never be bound as a required check. That constraint now rides on a job that was already unfiltered. RA-2 — preserve 119 lines → 2, one modified and one added: Both preserve the aligned-colon style.
