A desktop app that lets you run multiple AI coding agents in parallel — each in its own persistent terminal session, orchestrated from a keyboard-first UI. Works with Kiro, Claude, Copilot, Codex, or any CLI-based agent.

- Parallel agents — run as many AI coding sessions as you need, side by side
- Persistent sessions — agents keep running when you quit the app (tmux backend, or the experimental daemon and rmux backends)

- Jira connection — bundled Jira plugin with PKCE OAuth, plugin-scoped source settings, immediate periodic source sync, a dedicated sidebar section, departed-issue review prompts, and assignment to PlaneAI projects; Jira writeback is supported for configured lifecycle actions.

Let Homebrew take over the existing app instead:
brew install --cask --adopt nicolegros/tap/planeaiThe cask also puts planeai-cli on your PATH.
The app keeps updating itself, so brew upgrade is not needed.
Homebrew only loads casks from taps you trust, so use the full name nicolegros/tap/planeai in other brew commands or run brew trust nicolegros/tap once.
brew uninstall --zap --cask nicolegros/tap/planeai also moves planeai's settings, data and ~/.planeai worktrees to the Trash.

planeai is configured via ~/.config/planeai/config.json. See the full configuration docs for providers, file editor selection (embedded, terminal, or external), templates, lifecycle hooks, and auto-dispatch.
Themes are plain CSS files in ~/.config/planeai/themes/. See the theming guide for creating custom themes.
