Working with Issues

We use GitHub Issues to track bugs, enhancements, and tasks. Following a standard process helps us stay organized.

Reporting a Bug

Before opening a new issue, please search the existing ones to see if it has already been reported. When creating a bug report, include:

  • A clear, descriptive title.
  • Steps to reproduce the bug.
  • Expected vs. Actual behavior.
  • Screenshots or log snippets if applicable.

Requesting a Feature

Enhancements are always welcome! Describe the use case and why this feature would benefit the community.

Issue Labels

We use labels to categorize and prioritize work:

  • bug: Something isn't working correctly.
  • enhancement: New feature or improvement.
  • good first issue: Ideal for new contributors.
  • help wanted: Extra attention needed.
  • priority: high: Needs to be addressed immediately.

Claiming an Issue

  1. Comment on the issue to express your interest in working on it.
  2. A maintainer will assign it to you.
  3. Once assigned, you can start working on a feature/* or fix/* branch.
