Add LibreDB Studio to the database category templates.

LibreDB Studio is a modern, AI-powered open-source SQL IDE that supports PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, SQLite, MongoDB and Redis.

  • type: 1 (container)
  • category: database
  • image: ghcr.io/libredb/libredb-studio:0.9.27
  • port: 3000

Add LibreDB Studio to the database category templates.

LibreDB Studio is a modern, AI-powered open-source SQL IDE that supports
PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, SQLite, MongoDB and Redis.

- type: 1 (container)
- category: database
- image: ghcr.io/libredb/libredb-studio:v0.9.27
- port: 3000
- Remove v prefix from image tag (GHCR tags do not use v prefix)
- Add STORAGE_PROVIDER=sqlite preset env (without this, data is stored
in browser localStorage only — not persistent server-side storage)
- Add STORAGE_SQLITE_PATH preset env to explicitly map the volume path

Maintainer of LibreDB Studio here, thanks for taking a look.

Portainer users already run databases in their stacks; LibreDB Studio gives them a browser-based SQL IDE for PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, SQLite, MongoDB and Redis — no separate client to install.

It's MIT-licensed, actively maintained, and already an official one-click template on CapRover and Railway.

We'd be glad to see it in the catalog, and happy to adjust anything to fit your conventions.
@andres-portainer would appreciate a review when you have a moment.

Still open on our side and sitting clean on v3 with no conflicts. If the entry needs reshaping to match how you structure catalog templates (stackfile layout, metadata fields, naming), point me at an example and I'll bring it in line.

The entry has pinned 0.9.27 since it was opened in June; the project is at 0.14.0.
The description named seven engines and the product now reads seventeen, so the
ones added since - Couchbase, ClickHouse, Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, Cassandra,
Trino, Druid - are named too.

Updated the entry. The image was still on 0.9.27 from when this was opened, it now points to 0.14.0. I also refreshed the description, it listed 7 databases and we support a lot more now.

Still no conflicts on v3. Let me know if anything needs changing to fit your conventions.

Refreshed to 0.16.0, which is the current release. Nothing else in this PR changed.

This has been open since 23 June and has not had a review yet.

The entry sits on v3, merges cleanly, and I have just refreshed it to 0.16.1, which is the current release. The same push also adds AUTH_COOKIE_SECURE=false, because Portainer publishes the container port on the host and the browser reaches it over plain HTTP on a LAN address. Without that variable the app marks its session cookie Secure, the browser discards it, and login bounces back to the sign in page with the correct password and no error. I tested the entry as written before pushing.

If you want LibreDB Studio in the catalog, I will keep it current the way we do for the other stores that carry it.

If the catalog is not taking new community templates at the moment, or it is not a fit, please close the PR. A close is a perfectly good answer and it saves us both the upkeep.

A one line reply either way is all I am asking for, so I know whether to keep tracking it.

Updated to 0.16.2, which is the current release.

0.16.2 closes a cross-account authorization defect (GHSA-3wh2-8x78-jfw4, scored 8.8): a connection id supplied in a request could select another session's already-authenticated database provider, so a user account could reach a connection restricted to admin. It matters on any instance more than one person signs in to.

The branch had drifted 279 commits behind v3 and still pinned 0.16.2. It also
carried an unrelated change to addons/addons-catalog-develop.json that came
from the drift, not from this app; merging v3 takes that back.

0.17.0 reaches eighteen engines. The description named sixteen, because
Prometheus and Apache Kafka were added after it was written.

Contributor on LibreDB Studio here. The template entry matches how we ship the image: current tag, env vars for first-run login over plain HTTP on a LAN, and database category placement look right.

Happy to help if anything needs adjusting to match your catalog conventions.

Tested 0.17.0 with the template as-is, works fine.

@drewheimerman saw you reviewed the recent template additions (maestrohub, sorba), any chance you could take a look at this one when you get a chance? it's a single container entry so should be quick. the ci workflow is still waiting on approval too, so the schema check hasn't run yet
