Summary

Add reusable, capability-driven runtime validation helpers for I2C, PCIe, USB, DeviceTree hardware health, firmware discovery, and QRTR topology.

Key changes

  • Discover hardware dynamically through DT, sysfs, modalias, registered drivers, and runtime objects.
  • Handle built-in and modular drivers consistently.
  • Add actionable diagnostics for unbound devices, missing suppliers, malformed runtime state, and absent optional hardware.
  • Add shared inventory helpers for I2C, PCIe, USB host, HID, and mass storage.
  • Add PMIC GLINK/UCSI, thermal, regulator, and power-domain validation.
  • Add bounded QRTR topology capture and service lookup helpers.
  • Allow image-validation suites to disable package recovery with CHECK_DEPS_RECOVER=0.
  • Preserve clean SKIP behavior when optional capabilities are not present.

These helpers avoid board- and SoC-specific mappings and provide a reusable foundation for follow-up suite enhancements.

Add shared runtime inventory and validation primitives for I2C, PCIe, USB, device-tree health, firmware discovery, and QRTR topology. Keep capability detection dynamic across platforms and expose bounded diagnostics for consumer suites.
