l_talkshelper.py gave --year Gooey's IntegerField, a spin control that always holds a number, starts at its minimum of 1900 and is always passed on the command line. Run from the GUI the lister therefore filtered every talk against 1900 and found none, and there was no way to turn the filter off. The argument is now a plain integer field, which stays empty unless typed into, so talks of every year are listed by default.
