When rebasing, enable Update dependent branches to move other local branches pointing to
rewritten commits. The checkbox defaults to Git’s rebase.updateRefs setting; changes apply only
to that operation. Requires Git 2.38 or later.

The Push dialog lets you choose a remote and destination branch, or enter a new branch name.
gitGraphPlus.defaults.push.setUpstream defaults to true: a successful push sets or replaces the
branch’s upstream with that destination. Set it to false to leave tracking unchanged.

After type checks, tests, and builds pass on main, semantic-release uses Conventional Commits
to choose the next version and publishes a GitHub Release
with release notes and a versioned installer such as git-graph-plus-0.8.0.vsix. Nothing is published to npm or the VS Code Marketplace.
fix:commits produce patch releases,feat:commits produce minor releases, and breaking changes produce major releases.- Commits such as
docs:andchore:do not trigger a release on their own. - The
v0.7.3tag marks the upstream release baseline; new release notes cover changes after the latest release tag. - CI updates the package version and prepends release notes to
CHANGELOG.mdbefore packaging. It then commitsCHANGELOG.md,package.json, andpackage-lock.jsonback tomainwith[skip ci]. The release tag points to this commit. - Releases use the automatic
GITHUB_TOKEN; no additional publishing secrets are required.
