Summary of Changes

Upgrade GitHub Actions workflow dependencies in .github/workflows/dependency.yml by updating actions/checkout to v4 and foundry-rs/foundry-toolchain to v1. This resolves Node 12 runtime deprecation warnings on GitHub Actions runners and ensures reliable continuous integration.

Detailed Modifications

  • Upgraded actions/checkout from deprecated @v2 to @v4 in .github/workflows/dependency.yml to retire legacy Node 12 runner environment warnings.
  • Updated foundry-rs/foundry-toolchain from pinned @v1.2.0 to the stable @v1 release.
  • Maintained zero functional changes: strictly updates workflow runner versions with a clean 2-line diff.

Local Verification & Hermetic Testing

All modified workflow definitions were verified locally prior to submission:

  • YAML Validation: parsed workflow with strict parser; 100% valid YAML syntax.
  • Conventional Commits: commit message and PR title adhere to Conventional Commits standard.
  • Minimal blast radius: verified exact git diff across 1 file with 0 unintended modifications.
