Summary

Addresses the security advisory warnings on the default branch by bumping three dependencies in Gemfile.lock to their patched versions:

Dependency Before After CVEs
json 2.16.0 2.17.1.2 CVE-2026-33210 (High), CVE-2026-54696 (Low)
addressable 2.8.8 2.9.0 CVE-2026-35611 (High)
concurrent-ruby 1.3.5 1.3.7 CVE-2026-54904 (High), CVE-2026-54905 (Low), CVE-2026-54906 (Low)

Verification

  • Confirmed each gem version exists on rubygems.org with compatible ruby requirements and dependency metadata (lockfile was hand-updated since system Ruby is 2.6 and too old to run the bundle).
  • Ran bundle install + bundle exec jekyll build in a clean ruby:3.1 container against the updated lockfile — all 41 gems install and the site builds without errors.
  • Gemfile is unchanged (all versions were pinned only via the lockfile through existing ranges).

- json: 2.16.0 -> 2.17.1.2 (CVE-2026-33210, CVE-2026-54696)
- addressable: 2.8.8 -> 2.9.0 (CVE-2026-35611)
- concurrent-ruby: 1.3.5 -> 1.3.7 (CVE-2026-54904, CVE-2026-54905, CVE-2026-54906)

Verified metadata against rubygems.org and that the site builds with the
new lockfile (bundle install + jekyll build in a clean container).
