Impossible to debug sync_scanner

I have sync falling into infinity loop somehow.

it moves to 

```
sys:get_state(sync_scanner).
```

returns with timeout, while 

```
sys:get_state(sync_scanner, infinity).
```

hangs forever.


Actually I don't know how to provide more info while i cant get any information from `sys` module
