Summary

  • Add lite mode. When the user asks for it in any recipe request, the orchestrator skips code-verifier, design-sync, and security-reviewer, and runs the quality fixer once after the last Work Plan task instead of before every commit. Phases, approval stops, code review, and quality checks on review fixes stay the same.
  • Keep the rules in subagents-orchestration-guide/references/lite-mode.md, read only when the user asks. Recipes are unchanged.
  • Record task and Work Plan progress after the implementation commit. The extra "after quality pass" condition was redundant, since a commit already requires it in the default flow.
  • Rework the READMEs around adopting and running the workflow: add lite mode, and remove the scale table, template excerpts, agent list, and installed layout.
  • Bump the minor version to 1.6.0.

Validation

  • $recipe-design and $recipe-build in lite mode with codex exec on a small fixture repo. Design: no code-verifier or design-sync (with two Design Docs present), and the approval stop came right after document review. Build: two task commits without a per-task quality fixer, one final quality-fixer run (lint and 13 tests passed), code-reviewer only, and both Work Plan tasks checked off.
  • npm test

When the user asks for lite mode, the orchestrator skips code-verifier,
design-sync, and security-reviewer, and replaces the per-task quality
fixer during initial Work Plan task execution with one Final Quality
Run after the last task commit. Phases, approval stops, code review,
and the quality gate on review fixes stay unchanged. The rules live in
subagents-orchestration-guide/references/lite-mode.md and are read
only when the user asks.

Record task and Work Plan progress after the implementation commit.
The quality pass condition was redundant because a commit already
requires it in the default flow.

Rework the READMEs around adopting and running the workflow: add lite
mode and remove internal detail such as the scale table, template
excerpts, the agent list, and the installed layout.

Bump the minor version to 1.6.0.
