I work on technical products at the intersection of APIs, observability, and data.
I’m a technical product manager who enjoys complex problems and getting close to them: talking to users, digging into data, prototyping ideas, and building small tools that make my day-to-day work as a product manager easier.
APIs, observability, and data have been recurring themes throughout my career. My GitHub has followed along, from API tooling and OpenAPI/RAML, to Kubernetes and Prometheus, to data visualization, and to OpenTelemetry today.
More recently, I've been spending time on:
- Creating Claude skills for recurring, day-to-day product work
- Learning and getting hands-on experience with LLM-assisted prototyping in multi-agent environments
- Digging deeper into OpenTelemetry, particularly instrumentation, SDKs, and semantic conventions
- Exploring better ways to make complex datasets understandable, combining traditional data visualization with LLMs and natural-language interfaces
- Exploring AI gateway implementations to better understand how observability and OpenTelemetry apply behind the scenes
- Staff Product Manager working on technically complex products and platforms
- Experience across APIs, observability, data, analytics, and developer platforms
Outside of work, my life mostly revolves around my family, making things, and data. That's my wife, son, and two cats, building pretty much anything I can get my hands on, from a terrace to a built-in bookshelf, and an perhaps slightly unreasonable appreciation for having data in front of me. I find it comforting. It helps me understand things, make decisions, or sometimes just make sense of everyday life.
I also love playing games with my son. We build cool things in Minecraft, work on the best Yu-Gi-Oh! decks we can come up with, and when I get some time to myself, I usually end up playing Path of Exile.
