• docs/comparison.md: HomeCloud vs LocalStack (Community/Pro), moto, MinIO + k3s, OpenStack and the AWS free tier — where it's better and where it isn't.
• SECURITY.md (private reporting via GitHub security advisories), a newcomer-friendly CONTRIBUTING.md, issue forms (bug, feature, AWS compatibility gap) and a PR template.
• docs/aws-compat.md no longer claims CDK and Pulumi are fully tested.
• 11 good first issues filed (IAM: UpdateAccountPasswordPolicy and DeleteAccountPasswordPolicy #91–Example: verify cdk bootstrap and cdk deploy against HomeCloud (examples/cdk) #101).
