about

I'm an honors CS student at Penn State, and I like building software around problems I actually have — systems I can use every day.

Nytr started from one of those problems: Penn State dining changes every day, but nutrition and training targets don't. I built it to combine Stacks Market availability, HealthKit data, food logs, and training history into deterministic daily guidance.

Right now, I'm going deeper into LLM systems, backend infrastructure, and systems/performance engineering.

projects

Nytr  ·  case study  ·  swift, python, fastapi, postgresql · 2026
Evidence-driven decision system built around Penn State Harrisburg's Stacks Market. Combines daily dining availability with HealthKit, food logs, and Hevy training history to produce deterministic meal and training guidance in a native iOS app. 1,135 backend tests (1,124 passing in CI with Postgres) · 251 iOS XCTest cases.

Talks  ·  case study  ·  swift, swiftui, watchos, ios · 2026
Apple Watch meeting recorder with durable Watch-to-iPhone transfer, on-device transcription and Apple Foundation Models summaries, and Notion sync. 57 XCTest cases pass in CI on the iOS Simulator; CI also builds the watchOS app.

Clage  ·  case study  ·  python, javascript, neat, fastapi · 2026
From-scratch NEAT engine evolving autonomous neural agents in a 2D ecosystem. Built Clage Studio, a browser workbench with live visualization, neural-network inspection, evolutionary lineage, deterministic replay, and reproducible experiments. 429 Python tests plus JavaScript and browser coverage; OR/AND/XOR each solved across all five documented benchmark seeds using minimal initialization.

Devvy  ·  case study  ·  javascript (node.js), discord ipc, devtools · 2026
Local Discord Rich Presence daemon unifying VS Code, OpenCode, and Command Code. Implements Discord IPC directly, with source arbitration, heartbeat-based liveness, TTL expiry, automatic reconnection, and privacy-conscious activity metadata. Packaged for macOS with a managed background lifecycle.

ScholarAI  ·  team repo  ·  my pipeline  ·  python, postgresql, pgvector · jun 2026
Government-scheme discovery platform built by a 5-person team at the USAII Global AI Hackathon 2026; our team was a finalist among 6,081+ participants. My part was the data engineering: normalization, embeddings, and PostgreSQL/pgvector ingestion for 1,007 scraped schemes.

Also:

  • MedClarity  ·  typescript, react, gemini · 2026
Medical PDF question answering across multiple documents, with Gemini-backed answers, clickable page-level citations, and a cross-document timeline. Citation checks make sources inspectable; they do not validate the model's claims. 66 Vitest tests.

  • PyOpt  ·  python, qwen3-4b, lora · sep 2026
LoRA fine-tuning of Qwen3-4B for Python code optimization, with executable correctness and performance evaluation, seeded dataset generation, and train/test leakage checks. The published v1.1 split had 13 overlapping prompts out of 40; v1.2 fixes the split, but the model has not been retrained on it.
