Description
Alpine startup and its transceiver daemon must keep working when local Redis TCP is disabled. These paths also run in the upstream Alpine VS image.
Changes and dependencies
Select sockets explicitly for readiness polling, buffer-model reads, local configuration commands and xcvrd database helpers. Use the existing native daemon-helper interface and preserve ports, database values, subscriptions, retry limits and failure exits. Deliver the compatible daemon helper/CLI and this platform source in the normal image.
Testing
Seven isolated shell cases passed for buffer branches, readiness recovery/failure and both configuration SKU branches. Captured configuration operations match the original commands after translating numeric database IDs; only transport changes. Python and shell source checks passed. No Alpine image, xcvrd event stream, forwarding, reboot or installed-device acceptance was run.
