Moves the PIC64-HPSC machine to Microchip's 2.3.0 layer release: kernel 6.12.22 -> 6.18.35 (PREEMPT_RT) and a newer U-Boot, both fetched over HTTP from public repositories. The 2.3.0 layer also recommends out-of-tree kernel modules built from the private pic64-hpsc-hx/p64h-linux-examples repository (gpio and wdt as essential recommends, so even core-image-minimal would need SSH access to that organization). Remove them in kas/machine/pic64hpsc.yml so the build stays credential-free, and say so in the guide. Tested: with git-over-SSH disabled, core-image-minimal builds (only linux-mchp-p64h and u-boot-mchp remain from meta-mchp) and boots to login on the P64H 2.3.0 QEMU model with no failed systemd units. with the excluded private repos from Microchip the CI is now green. the previous run with full meta-mchp packages did indeed fail as some Microchip repos are private in new release: https://github.com/space-grade-linux/meta-sgl/actions/runs/40087308202/job/120852761209 |
