Add MasterKey::Book to the reference repository (CAS versions, history, idempotency, atomic redb commits) and PUT/GET /api/v1/books with If-Match/Idempotency-Key, per-row resolution errors and all-or-nothing commits. /api/v1/portfolios becomes an alias over books and the in-memory portfolio store is removed. POST /api/v1/portfolio/analytics accepts a book_id and refuses unless every position has a valid runtime result. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

🟡 Minor · Update the stale statement about a volatile portfolio store. · ACCESS.md:105
crates/convex-server/ACCESS.md:105
📐 Maintainability & Code Quality | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick winUpdate the stale statement about a volatile portfolio store.
Line 105 says that "the present portfolio store remains volatile and does not establish authoritative financial books." This PR removes the in-memory store. Portfolios are now durable, versioned
MasterKey::Bookrecords in the reference repository. Operators who read this access guide will get the wrong picture of book persistence. The transport table at lines 107–121 also does not list the new
/api/v1/books*routes. Their access contract is "book ID;BookRead/BookWrite; every instrument in the body, plus identifier-resolved instruments." Add a row for these routes.🤖 Prompt for AI Agents

🗄️ Data Integrity & Integration | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win
Make the batch replay check reject receipts that do not match this payload.
batch_replay accepts any retained receipt when every committed book is named in the current request. This check has two gaps:
- A receipt from a bond-only command has empty
master_records. That receipt returnsSome(0), so the response is200 {"created":0,...}instead of a key conflict. - A retry that names extra portfolios is also accepted. Example: the key first created
{A}, and the retry names{A, B}. The response iscreated: 1, skipped: 1. The caller then assumes thatBalready exists, but nothing created it.
Both cases break the "same key with another body conflicts" contract. Every other write path gets that contract from identical_payload. At a minimum, reject a receipt that has non-empty prior.records or empty master_records. A more complete fix is to rebuild the expected MasterChange set from the receipt and compare it with the request.

…, 8 MiB book PUT limit Batch portfolio replay now compares each retained book with what this request would create, so a reused key with another payload or endpoint is a 409. Conformance asserts the cursor key and checks duplicate and over-capacity books through commit. PUT /books gets the 8 MiB body limit matching the access layer. Remove a no-op sort in the file repository book listing. Document that a null description leaves the value unchanged. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Books become a durable resource in the existing
