The open source launcher for macOS.
Documentation · Changelog · Roadmap · Community
Floe opens with one hotkey and searches your applications, commands, quicklinks and System Settings panes. It runs Raycast extensions unmodified, has snippets, emoji, file search, a calculator and a clipboard history built in, and hands work to the terminal, editor and browser you already use. You choose the AI that answers, and it can stay on your Mac. Free, and free to keep: there is no subscription, no account and no tracking, and a new macOS never costs an upgrade. The code is open source under AGPL-3.0.
Beyond the search, Floe gives any command an alias, a hotkey or a place among your favorites, runs the shortcuts you made in Apple's Shortcuts app by name, and reaches the menu bar and the front app's menus from the keyboard. Switch on iCloud sync and your aliases, hotkeys, favorites, snippets and quicklinks are the same on every Mac you own. Passwords go through iCloud Keychain, by a separate switch.
Download the disk image from the releases and drag Floe to Applications.
