    @GLagunas-Robles:

    citation("patchwork")

    returns

    To cite package ‘patchwork’ in publications use:

      Pedersen T (2022). _patchwork: The Composer of Plots_. R package
      version 1.1.2, <https://CRAN.R-project.org/package=patchwork>.

    A BibTeX entry for LaTeX users is

      @Manual{,
        title = {patchwork: The Composer of Plots},
        author = {Thomas Lin Pedersen},
        year = {2022},
        note = {R package version 1.1.2},
        url = {https://CRAN.R-project.org/package=patchwork},
      }

    Does that answer your question? 😉

    CRAN packages also come with DOIs, e.g. https://doi.org/10.32614/CRAN.package.patchwork. Not sure why this wouldn't be included in the BibTex entry by default.
